Join us at The Thunderdome, Oldham on Saturday June 1st, for a day-long Roller Derby Sur5al tournament, hosted by the Rainy City Roller Girls Tender Hooligans!
Created by Royal Windsor Roller Girls, “Sur5al” is a concept challenge, where teams of 5 skaters battle it out against each other in a series of 2 minute Roller Derby jams, to score the most points and be crowned ultimate Sur5ors!
Teams confirmed as taking part are: Rainy City Roller Girls Tender Hooligans, Liverpool Roller Birds, Preston Roller Girls, Furness Firecrackers, Manchester Roller Derby, Evolution Roller Girls, Sheffield Steel Roller Girls, Wirral Whipiteres, Wakey Wheeled Cats and Glasgow Roller Derby (B).

Saturday 15th June and Sunday 16th June – Mick Swagger Bootcamps
We are proud to welcome a special guest coach to The Thunderdome, for 2 special day-long bootcamps at intermediate and advanced levels. We give you the mighty Mick Swagger, from Gotham Girls Roller Derby!
Mick Swagger’s Roller Derby repertoire boasts one season with the Gotham Girls All Stars and three seasons with the Rose City Rollers All Stars.

Sunday 23rd June – Pre-Minimum Skills Bootcamp
Rainy City Roller Girls invite derby skaters-in-training to The Thunderdome for a special beginners bootcamp! In this bootcamp you will learn skating, blocking and jamming skills designed to help you prepare for your WFTDA minimum skills assessment. We will work through all of the skills required, giving you plenty of practise!
Date: Sunday 23rd June Location: The Thunderdome, 1 King St, Oldham, OL8 1EU Time: 11:30am – 5pmPrice: £20
Skill Level: Beginner (pre-mins) – Focussing on WFTDA minimum skills. Ideally you will have been skating with your league for at least 6 weeks.
This event is open to male and female skaters.

You know the law: Two teams enter, one team leaves! On July 6th, Rainy City Roller Girls face Leeds Roller Dolls Rebel Roses at The Thunderdome, Oldham!

Rainy City Roller Girls Tender Hooligans travel to Stirling to take part in the Battle of Britain, a tournament hosted by Into the Nitemare Roller Derby Store. 6 teams from around Britain will skate it out to claim the honour of being crowned The Nitemare Champions!
